Synopsis
Joy McNally is driven career woman who is engaged but when her fiancé grows tired of her uptight attitude; he breaks up with her. Jack Fuller is a guy who likes to goof off, which makes his boss who also happens to be his father, fire him. Feeling down they both go to Las Vegas to forget about what happened to them. When they get there, a computer error puts them in the same room. And after getting drunk, they wake up to discover they got married, which they both want to get out of. But when they win 3 million dollars, the ownership of which comes into question. When they decide to take it to court, the judge decides that they should remain married for 6 months and attend counseling sessions. So Joy moves in with Jack. And they both learn that if one of them asks to get out of the marriage, the other will get the money. So they each try to drive the other to want to get out of the marriage.

Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 900ml chicken or vegetable stock (or Miso soup mix)
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, about 175g/6oz
- 1 tsp chopped fresh root ginger
- 1 garlic clove , finely chopped
- 50g rice or wheat noodles
- 2 tbsp sweetcorn , canned or frozen
- 2-3 mushrooms , thinly sliced
- 2 spring onions , shredded
- 2 tsp soy sauce , plus extra for serving
- mint or basil leaves and a little shredded chilli (optional), to serve
Directions
- Pour the stock into a pan and add the chicken, ginger and garlic. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat, partly cover and simmer for 20 mins, until the chicken is tender. Remove the chicken to a board and shred into bite-size pieces using a couple of forks.
- Return the chicken to the stock with the noodles, corn, mushrooms, half the spring onions and the soy sauce. Simmer for 3-4 mins until the noodles are tender. Ladle into two bowls and scatter over the remaining spring onions, herbs and chilli shreds if using. Serve with extra soy sauce for sprinkling.

Synopsis
26 July 2005 rang an ominous bell—for most, but amidst all the chaos and the tragedy, it reunited two star-crossed ex-lovers. Two people who meet after a hiatus of six years-now occupying different worlds. Evidently, they had moved on.
What starts off as a seemingly innocuous encounter on the same flight back to Mumbai-ends up as a rollercoaster ride through some of the darkest hours of Mumbai-as they see the city get swamped with disaster and loss, and are forced to stick together in this time of crisis.
The story shifts perspective between the past and the present- a glorious but crazy past of two starkly different people falling in love-the differences at first being exciting. Gradually with time, they journey through the emotional pitfalls attached, the constant bickering, the frantic and urgent making up, and irreconcilable differences—that give way to a final breakup. And then we see those very people struggling their way through a stormy night in Mumbai that threatens to take over the city, their fears and insecurities lying bare as their guard drops.
As emotions run high, the two learn more about each other on that night possibly than they knew in all those years of being together—tough situations call on some important revelations and they realize how transient and unpredictable life is and they need to make the most of the time.

এক হুজুর আর একদল পাঙ্ক একই সাথে ট্রেনে যাচ্ছে। তো এক পাঙ্ক ঠিক করছে হুজুরকে একটু বিরক্ত করবে। কি নিয়ে বিরক্ত করা যায় খুজতে যেয়ে দেখে যে হুজুরেরর মাত্র সাতটা লম্বা লম্বা দাড়ি থুতনির কাছে। আর একটাও দাড়ি ওঠে নাই।
পাঙ্ক বলল হুজুর আমার মনে হয় আপনার মত পরহেজগার লোকের দাড়ি যদি সাথে রাখি তাহলে আমার আর কোন অসুখ হবে না। আমাকে একটা দাড়ি দেন।
হুজুরতো কিছুতেই দাড়ি দেবে না, পাঙ্কও ছাড়বে না। এরকম করতে করতে শেষ পর্যন্ত হুজুর বলল ঠিক আছে, একটু পরে। তো একটু পরে হুজুর সত্যি সত্যি একটা দাড়ি দিয়েছে। পাঙ্ক পোলা তো মহা খুশি। কিন্তু গুনে দেখে যে, হুজুরের দাড়ি সাতটাই আছে।
পাঙ্ক: একটা দিলেন তারপরও আপনার দাড়ি সাতটা থাকে কেমন করে?
হুজুর: আরে এটা তো শো রুম। আপনাকে গোডাঊন থেকে দিয়েছি। |

Hot and Sour Soup
Ingredients
- 4 dried Chinese mushrooms
- 16 ounces Chinese bean curd, well drained
- 1/2 cup canned bamboo shoots, drained
- 4 cups Chinese Chicken Stock
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 ounces ground pork, cut into thin slices about 2 inches long
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 3 tablespoons water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons sesame-seed oil
- 1 green onion, sliced
Directions
- Cover the mushrooms in a small bowl with warm water. Let them soak for 30 minutes to soften. Strain mushroom liquid and reserve. Cut the mushrooms into 1/4-inch slices; set aside.
- Slice bean curd and bamboo shoots into 1/4inch slices and set aside.
- Place the chicken stock in a large pot. Add the salt, soy sauce, mushroom liquid, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and ground pork. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer soup for 3 minutes. Add the white pepper, vinegar, and bean curd. Return soup to a boil. Give the cornstarch mixture a stir, then add to soup, followed by the beaten egg, while stirring gently. Remove the heat from the heat. Add the sesame oil and sprinkle soup with green onions to serve.

Ingredients
- 1 lb prawns
- 5 green chilies, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 small bunch spring onion leaves, cilantro leaves
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
Directions
Clean the prawns in salt water to avoid the smell of the prawns (if it bothers you..) Heat oil in a pan. Add green chilies, onions and fry until brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, spring onion leaves, cilantro and fry for some more minutes. Then add tomatoes, prawns and cook until they are done. Add salt, chili powder, garam masala and fry for 5 minutes. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
